Nicoletta graduated with a M. Ost (Master of Osteopathy) with distinction at the University College of Osteopathy. To complement the internationally recognised structural approach of her UCO training, and to deepen her knowledge of indirect techniques which invite a response from tissues rather than demanding it, she pursued further postgraduate training in cranial involuntary motion at the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy. She is currently developing her knowledge of visceral techniques under the guidance of Caroline Stone, one of the “mother” figures of osteopathy in the UK.
Nicoletta appreciates the variety of lifestyle factors that can impact health (work settings, relationships, hobbies and other activities) and the patient’s unwellness experience, and she has a keen interest in a biopsychosocial approach to healthcare.
She enjoys working with patients of all ages, in acute or chronic pain, employing a variety of treatments, including articulations, joint manipulations, soft tissue massage, muscle energy techniques (MET), strain-counterstain (SCS) or positional release techniques, and exercise prescription.
Nicoletta speaks English and Italian fluently, has good Spanish and understands French.
